Spring Nails: Lovely Lilac

The majority of my posts recently I have been declaring how happy I am that it finally is spring and in celebration of the new season I said goodbye to my dark nails and hello to my bright, pretty nail varnishes.

I completely fell in love with the Burberry SS14 collection, the colours and textures were absolutely stunning, my favourite colour from the bunch being lilac as seen on their embellished skirts, cotton coats and sheer shirts. I have been so excited to wear this colour, and my nails seemed like the perfect platform for its first showcase of the season.

Ciaté mini mani nail varnishes are such amazing creations, they are so tiny and cute but with the same beautiful bold colours. The colour used on my claws this time was my own (for once!) polish Sugar Plum by Ciaté, a girly and flirty pale lilac, much like the colour that wowed me on the Burberry catwalk.

I decided to keep my pointed nails again, I love the contrast of the delicate colour and the fierce shape of my nails! Although I always say how much I miss square nails, at the moment I am so in love with pointed ones, they really give a twist to plain block colours.

What colours are your nails sporting at the moment?

  1. I'm loving that spring is here!
I love this colour and this shape. Are these your own nails? I'd love to change the shape of my nails.
